Easy Homemade Dark Chocolate
This recipe makes a small batch of delicious dark chocolate. You can customize it with your favorite mix-ins!
Ingredients:
- 250g Cocoa Butter
- 120g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup)
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:

Melt the cacao butter:
In a double boiler, or in the microwave, (or a heat-resistant bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water), gently melt the cacao butter. -
Whisk in dry ingredients:
Remove the top of the double boiler from heat. Sift the cocoa powder into the melted cacao butter and whisk until smooth. -
Add flavorings:
Whisk in the honey, vanilla extract (if using), and salt. -
Pour and set:
Pour the chocolate mixture into a lined candy mold or a small baking dish.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until firm. -
