I bought this for my mum and her colleagues they absolutely loved it! The Italian meringue also gave it that extra bang and she said the flavour of this cake was super yum!

This cake was perfect for those that don't have too much of a sweet tooth. The almond and vanilla taste is subtle with the icing giving it just the right amount of sweetness. The almonds provide a nice crunchy texture, as well as the nougat pieces on the top of the cake. The nougat pieces that decorate the cake are too die for, and the raspberries add a nice sweet/sour flavour to the cake.
