One of the main reasons I ordered the cake was due to the dramatic way it looked with the large white choc shards sticking up on the top (I wanted a birthday cake with a difference). When the cake was 10 minutes away from us we were told that they had done meringue instead of the shards (even though we had requested the shards when ordering) and when my husband called to complain it was because 'they take quite long' - even though we had ordered with more than ten days notice. A plan was then made to bring us shards but they were small and disappointing and did not look anything like the website photos. That was the day of the party so no time to arrange any other cake. The cheesecake itself was quite nice tasting but I found the base too thick and not sweet enough.
